55th Filmfare Awards Nominations 2010

Well, it’s that time of the year again, when People from the Film Fraternity get to meet and greet each other and praise or trash(judging by the recent trends in filmfare) each other/s work in public.
Filmfare has always stood out as one of the premiere Hindi Film Industry awards, which from my perspective could called the Oscars of the Hindi Film Industry.
The Indian Films this year have made us proud. I can say that twice..

Life After Avatar – Hottest Movies With a Message in 2010

The prospect of seeing a movie after James Cameron’s Avatar can be somewhat scary. It’s fairly true to say that this spectacular movie about spirituality, nature and the consequences of human greed has altered the movie landscape.

Bollywood Deserves Its Own Oscar Category

The 81st Academy Awards ceremony in 2009 has been referred to as the “Indian Oscars” because the film ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ won eight awards, including Best Picture and Best Director. Sachin Tendulkar’s Great Hundreds

Sachin Tendulkar, probably the most successful cricketer of India of all time, is willing to end his career only after getting 15,000 runs in test cricket and winning 2011 world cup for India.
In an interview with Wisden, Sachin told “I am not pleased yet with what I have done.” He added that Sunil Gavaskar has told him to get this achievement. With more than 12,500 runs at an average near 55, Sachin Tendulkar has made 42 hundreds in Test cricket.
